The 2008 Ms. Blanchard Poke Salad Pageant 

will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 at

Donnie Bickham Middle School at 6:30 PM and

is for girls of all ages.

We have VERY EXCITING news for pageant contestants this year!  Thanks to the dedication of our Pageant Director, Teresa Cooper, our pageant will afford the winners of two age divisions an opportunity to compete at the

Miss Teen Princess Louisiana Pageant and Miss Jr. Teen Princess Louisiana Pageant for scholarships and prizes.*

*  In order to join the Miss Teen and Jr. Teen Princess Louisiana pageant system, our age categories have been adjusted slightly, with the winner of the 13-14 year old category having the option of going to the Miss Jr. Teen Princess Louisiana Pageant and the winner of the 15-18 year old category having the option of going on to the Miss Teen Princess Louisiana Pageant.  Contestants will be responsible for 1/2 of the entry fee and any other costs associated with the pageant should they choose to participate.  The Pageants will be held in the Shreveport-Bossier area over the weekend of May 31, 2008.
